finished up the "I Can Do Better...THAN YOU" contest on Pencil Jack. I feel pretty good about my entry, as it was my first time to go through "Hi-Fi Color for Comics", which is a really awesome book.

I'll be starting the next 3 Bayash Bible pics over the weekend as well as catching up on my homework. I also started a new contest on PJ to draw Wilbur Whatley from HP Lovecraft's the Dunwich Horror, so keep your eyes peeled for progress on that, as well as my continued effort to keep up on inking Ultimate New Warriors.

This weekend, I'm planning on seeing Wall-E and Wanted. Both have gotten pretty good reviews (especially Wall-E), so I'm pretty stoked about that.

I ended up seeing Get Smart last weekend, and the 50% that it got on Rotten Tomatoes was about right. Every third joke was funny, and I can't help but be amused by Steve Carell. As much as I wanted to like it, though, I wouldn't have given it more than a 50%. You're better off waiting for the DVD on this one (as opposed to the Happening, which you are better off renting a copy just so you can destroy it to save someone else. )

I'm trying to buy graphic novels once a month from Amazon in an attempt to save money... the only problem is, once I get through them all, I have nothing new to read until the middle of next month. Oh well.
