My mom came into town and the festivities commenced, so I forgot to update my journal. I'll pretend that today is last Friday!

Happy 4th of July! having been in the Army for 5 years (just got out last November), I'm very proud of our country and the freedoms that we have. Even if my opinions differ with others, I still hold a deep respect for them, and an even deeper respect for our country that holds us together.

Wall-E was EXCELLENT! If you haven't seen it, drop what you're doing and go see it now! I wish I could say the same for Wanted. It was good, don't get me wrong, but even though it seemed like a cross between the Matrix and Fight Club, it wasn't as good as either of them. I'd give it 3 1/2 to 4 stars.

Finally finished FFXII on the DS and finished up Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass while I was at it. I'm trying to finish up Professor Layton and the Curious Village, which I should do in the next day or two. Haven't played much Wii, though...

I have done little to no drawing. I did, however, finish up my college classes, so hopefully my artistic instincts should kick in (I hope).

Not planning to watch Hancock due to the horrible reviews, but I'm taking in several DVD's since my Mom's here until the 18th.
